At My Desi Guru we recognise the importance of protecting the privacy of information collected about our online visitors. Disclaimer
My Desi Guru DVDs are educational and entertaining supporting parent’s efforts to teach a desi language to young children. It uses fun jungle characters; new stories; listening and repetition activities; attractive visuals and music to teach and entertain children.
No guarantee is provided that a language can be learnt by just watching these DVDs. It is simply a learning tool to help build an interest in learning desi languages.
All the desi words (Hindi/Gujarati/Urdu) used to translate the English words have been written in the English language as accurately as possible (bearing in mind that some letter translations do not exist).
Some word translations have been updated to represent modern day colloquial alternatives rather than teach children the desi words (Hindi/Gujarati/Urdu) that have been used historically and no longer used. Also please note that this DVD uses the translations that are most commonly used for the words being taught – there maybe other words that can also be used that have not been covered.
Even though all of our products are for children, we do not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children’s products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use our website only with involvement of a parent or guardian.
We reserve the right to make any changes and corrections to this website and revised DVD version as and when we consider it appropriate and without notice.
